A site-specific, solo exhibition consisting of a series of light boxes, sound and video which were installed at the Old Traffic Office in Braamfontein, Johannesburg. Originally a small Victorian house, the site was chosen for its domestic structure and long abandoned feel.<\/p>\n

small repetitive actions,<\/em> examined the emotional resonance of space \u2013 not sites of specific trauma per se but rather projections of daily tasks imprinted through their repetitive nature.<\/p>\n

This echo of presence becomes more poignant and can only be experienced due to a current sense of absence. A space which has never been occupied can not be abandoned.<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n
