THE CRITIC (2002) RETURN TO ART MENU

The Critic is a hand-drawn stop-frame animation that references Picasso’s Les Demoiselles d’Avignon to examine the complex relationship between artists, their work and critical reception.

The Critic was awarded first prize in the University of the Witwatersrand Martienssen Prize Competition at the Johannesburg Art Gallery in 2002.
